Completion tracking

Dungeon Inn Achievements

Version 1.0 introduced 32 Steam achievements, and the names below are the set the store currently lists. Two rules are documented: chapter achievements tie to clearing a chapter, and collection achievements now count entries across all save slots — opening Extras > Collection from the title screen unlocks any that are already earned. Per-achievement conditions have not been published, so this page lists names rather than invented requirements.

Achievement hunting in this game starts with a small correction: there is no published list of requirements, only a published count and two rules that the launch hotfixes had to repair. What can be done properly is naming the set accurately and explaining the two rules that have actually bitten players.

The count and where it lives

The 1.0 launch FAQ states 32 Steam achievements. The store’s achievement panel lists them by name, and those 32 names appear below. If a guide quotes a different number, it is either counting a later update or counting something else.

The two documented rules

Chapter clears. Achievements are tied to clearing chapters, and the tie was broken for one specific case: save data loaded mid-chapter from the Early Access version did not unlock the matching achievement. Hotfix 1.0.0.261027 fixed it and gives the example directly — loading Chapter 9 clear data now unlocks the Chapter 9 achievement.

Collection entries. The Adventurer’s Collection achievements originally counted only the entries inside a single save slot. Hotfix 1.0.0.261028.1 changed that to count entries across all save slots, and added the backfill: if the conditions are already met, the achievement unlocks when you open Extras > Collection from the title screen.

That second rule is worth acting on. If you have played more than one save, open the collection from the title once, after updating.

What the names tell you, and what they do not

The names cluster into recognisable families — a set of inn-rating titles (A Decent Inn, A Charming Inn, A Refined Inn, The Best Inn), a double-dealing ladder (Expert, Master), practice achievements for expert and master visitors, and chapter-scale milestones like The Final Week.

Reading a family as a progression is reasonable; reading a threshold into it is not. No source checked here states what triggers each one, so the grid below deliberately stops at the name.

Where to check your own progress

  • Steam client: the game’s achievement panel, which is also where the unlock dates appear.
  • In game: Extras > Collection, which is what the collection achievements now read — and what the backfill reads from the title screen.

What is not published

No official source checked here lists each achievement with its requirement. The two rules above are the only ones with original wording behind them. A completion roadmap would need either the in-game list read against a real playthrough or a source that publishes conditions; this page has neither, and does not invent them.

Straight answers

Questions this page leaves you with.

Short answers that stay inside the evidence collected for this task.

How many achievements does Dungeon Inn have?

32, as stated in the 1.0 launch FAQ and as listed on the store's achievement panel.

One of my achievements did not unlock even though I finished the chapter. Why?

That was a known bug for chapter-clear data loaded from Early Access saves. Hotfix 1.0.0.261027 fixed it, including the Chapter 9 case.

Do collection achievements count across save files?

Yes since 1.0.0.261028.1. Before that patch only one save slot counted, which is why two playthroughs could each hold half a collection and unlock nothing.
